An award-winning researcher, teacher, scholar, and community leader, Dr. Jeanne Dyches creates thoughtful, engaging, provocative learning experiences.
For over 15 years, Dr. Dyches has facilitated the conversations necessary to naming and combatting inequity.
With a focus on racial justice, Dr. Dyches designs accessible, engaging experiences that help participants develop an awareness of the complex everyday practices that create and uphold power imbalances.
Three commitments drive all of Dr. Dyches' work: 1) deepening participants' awareness of their unique identities; 2) broadening participants' knowledge of sociopolitical systems and their roles within them; and 3) empowering participants to act with agency within their contexts. Her multimodal teaching melds current events, history, peer-reviewed research, relevant examples, dialogue, and humor in order to make complex topics accessible.
Dr. Dyches faciliates workshops, professional development series, keynotes, and lectures as her schedule permits. If you are interested in scheduling a collaboration, see "Consulting" link for more information, or email her at dyches.jeanne@gmail.com.
